So let's see what the Design Team have been making this month...

Liz - It's my Sons Fiancee's Birthday today, she loves a handmade card and layers so I created this using some of the gorgeous chipboard, papers, Polkadots and flower dies from Polkadoodles,

I love this Daisy Daisy paper pack which is the base of my design, the chipboards are so lightweight they are fabulous used in cards as well as mixed media,

I love to create flowers from die cuts, and love to see how many different looks you can get from them,

The Celebrate die adds another little layer too, though I will admit it's been covered with the flower a bit, lol. Here's what else I used on this make:

• Love and kisses stamps • Pretty Flowers 1 dies • Flower flourish dies • Pretty frames and quotes chipboard •

Eve - I used Polkadoodles Lilac Haze watercolour flowers download and printed it 3 times so that I could fussy cut the flowers to add layers. I added some yellow glitter glue to the centres and layered them onto purple card. The background paper comes with the download as well as 6 other pretty papers. The flower image that I used is pre coloured but there is also a black and white image if you wish to colour it yourself. The sentiment is Spring Flower Mothers Day Friends greetings sentiments which I fussy cut and layered. The 'Mum' sentiment is from Mother's Day messages sentiments - again fussy cut and layered. The beautiful tag which I just had to buy after seeing Nikky on Hobbymaker TV channel is called Ribbon tag heart dies which I mounted and fussy cut onto purple card. Finally I added a Pretty Flower Flourish die with a brad for the centre and used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges of the card.

Kathie
 - Good morning and welcome to all my crafty friends and welcome to another Digi Choosday. It’s time for a new challenge for me once again. Our design team theme is Mother’s Day or a Mum’s birthday. We had free range with the colour palette which made me happy. I’ve made a birthday card for a special friend who loves the garden and tulips. I chose this image knowing full well she will love it. She has kept every card I’ve ever made for her. This wonderful Polkadoodles image is DLPD 9225 Butterfly Flowerpots this image comes black & white for you to colour as well as a coloured image and it also includes sentiments. The design paper used was DLPD 9391 Flower Wreath #8. The image was coloured with the following Copic Chio markers: 0, C0, C1, E11, E33, E35, RV02, RV13, W05, YG00, YG03, YG06, YG63 and a black gel pen. I look forward to commenting on whatever you make. Happy crafting everyone. You can find my complete instructions for this card on my blog here.

Jane Hi everyone! It was my Mum’s birthday last week, so I made her a card featuring thegorgeous elements from the PARTY TIME collection. I used this super cute PARTY BALLOON BUNNY RABBIT as the main image, then in Word I created a little scene around her with the elements from the PARTY BUNDLE. I used my favourite technique of printing my scene directly to the patterned paper, adding a shadow behind each image to give it some depth.

Zel - I Printed Helga hippo flowers and foliage and have it cut through my scan and cut machine to be mu focal point .For my layers I prepared a 4x5 green textured cardstock and a piece of 2x5 textured yellow card stock . For my card base an A4 white cardstock will do. I first adhere the green cardstock to my cardbase making sure that it is centered . I adhered the yellow cardstock on top of my green cardstock but this one is a little bit off centered. I also wanted to have layers of my focal point thats why I adhere the leaves on top of each other and added foam square to my flower and adhere it on top of my leaves. I added pearl embellishment to create a motherly look and for the final touch I adhered Sending Happiness sentiment from Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Sentiment. I used the Flowers and Foliage colour clipart for this project and Winnie Sugar Sprinkles quotes. Would love it if you could follow me on social:

Enrica - Hi crafty friends! I'm so happy to share with you my new inspiration project. This week the DT was asked to make a wallet and the requirement was to use a rabbit. I decided for the sweet Love You Cart Loads and the Bunnita Shopping digital stamp for the tag/gift on the insidePatterned papers are from the DIGI DEALS - Dahlia Flower 1 and the DIGI DEALS - Bella Bear Morning Coffee. In case you had any doubts... yes, I'm addicted to pink. It's a color I adore and it makes me feel good. And you? What color would you have done it in?

Judy - My inspiration project for this week is a Spring themed card. I am using Gill Bunny Rabbit Growing Sunflowers Digi as my focal. He is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut. I adhered to white cardstock. A border at the top of the card uses one of the papers from Pretty Spring Printable Papers. The sentiment was printed and die cut with an oval die. I added handcut banners to complete my card design.

Wendy
- Hiya everyone I hope that you are having a lovely week. Time for some more inspiration for our Digi Choosday challenge and today I have a pretty card to send someone special to tell them how much you love them. It's a Fence or Lattice style card and I thought it was perfect to showcase the wood panel papers and flowers in the Udderly Cute Collection. Its a really easy card to create and the measurements are on my blog if you want to know how I made it. The daisy ephemerasentiment and the papersare all from the new collection. I finished off the card with lots of sparkly gems and clear sparkle pen for a special card. Love and crafty hugs Wendy x

Julie I had so much fun creating this Birthday Card. I wanted to create something pretty, with florals and touch of lace. I started with 2 digital papers from Rosebud collection, and added the lace pattern over the pattern to create a border on my card front in my editing program. Next I chose the greeting from Birthday Sentiments, I wanted it to sit pretty much in the mid section of the card —this sentiment worked perfectly and I really liked the font. I chose to add my florals from the Perfect Peony bundle, I added them to my digital workspace and moved them around, and overlapped them until I was happy with the arrangement. I printed 2 copies of this. On one copy I colored only the flower blossoms using Copic Markers- R22, R21, R20, then cut them out with scissors. On the 2nd copy I colored the leaves and stems -YG67, YG65, YG63. I used a random stencil to add some little dots in a coordinating ink color in 3 random places on the card front. Using foam tape I placed the cut out blossoms into place on the card front, this dimension absolutely made the flowers pop! I ink blended a piece of vellum paper in shades of green, and from it cut some leaves with a leaf die and tucked those in under the flower blossoms. I added sparkle to the florals using a glitter brush and added a few gems before attaching the card front to a card base. You really must try give this card a try, it is so beautiful in person. FYI: the florals on this card are actually more of a pink color - I’ll chalk it up to one of life’s many mysteries as to why my camera refused to capture that color. My BlogInstagramFacebook

Maria - Winter is slowly coming to an end, and with it comes the joy of fresh, soft colours that make us look forward to spring. I immediately picked up on this feeling in today’s project. For my mum’s birthday, I used the beautiful Timeless Rose craft paper – she loves pink, so it was simply perfect. To keep the design elegant and clean, I used lots of white. A delicate vellum wrap surrounds the card and features the gorgeous Celebrate sentiment along with the heart from the Heart Flourish die. When you open the card, a little surprise is revealed: a pop-up effect filled with the lovely images from the Birthday Celebrations set. I deliberately coloured the images using only Polychromos pencil no. 193 to achieve a very soft look, and added Glossy Accents for subtle shiny details. To finish off the card, I added hearts and tags from the Ribbon Tag Heart Dies and the Nested Heart Dies as well as lots of sparkling gems to bring everything together. I hope this card inspires you to start creating with fresh colours as we welcome spring. Here´s my Facebook & YouTube - hope you will follow!

ANA - For this week’s Digi Choosday DT prompt, we were to create something for Mother’s Day or Mom’s birthday. I decided to design something that could work for both occasions, a fun and thoughtful Do Not Disturb door hanger just for Mom’s special day! This project features the adorable Honeypie Sweet Flower Bouquet and Winnie Sunshine Delight Cheeky digi stamps, which I colored with alcohol markers for a bright and cheerful look. I paired them with a pretty pattern paper from the Happy Cactus Succulent collection for a fresh, bright, floral and happy background. To make it even easier for fellow crafters, I created a ready-to-use Design Space template for Cricut users (note: the digi stamps are not included here, you have to upload your preferred digi yourself). It’s a quick and versatile make that can be customized for either Mother’s Day or a birthday celebration, or just like me - both. So let's see what the Design Team have been making this month...

Kerri I am sharing a card I made using Digital Paper, Digital Ephemera, and an adorable Digital Image. These two cute Cows are called Love Moo. The Pattern Paper is called Printable Paper set #4 Udderly Cute. The Daisies are from the printable Ephemera. I added a piece of lace in antique white. I colored with Prisma Pencils and Image was printed onto white card stock.Pencils Used: Black, Cool Grey 90, 70, 50, 30, 10 percent, Dark Umber, Light Umber, Sandbar Brown, Ginger Root, Tuscan Red, Crimson Red, Scarlette Red, Blush Pink, Dark Green, Olive Green, Apple Green, Golden.

Judy My inspiration for this week is a winter themed card created with Theo Penguin Cable Car. These cute penguins were colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. I used papers from Theo Penguin Paper Bundle 3 for the background. The sentiment is from Theo Penguin 109 Winter Christmas/Birthday Greetings Sentiments Bundle. It was printed and die cut with a stitched circle die from my stash, which is placed on top of a snowflake die cut. I cut it with Fancy Snowflake Cutting Die. I added twine and some snowflake gems to complete.

Rosanna The cold weather has arrived in Italy too, so we're staying warm in our homes and, after a few stressful days, we're back to work. I've created a new project: the base is a raw wooden heart, which I painted blue with acrylic paints. It measures 13.5 x 15 cm and is 1 cm thick (5.5 x 5.7 inches). I used the PD7125 You're Flying High - Winnie Celebrations 3 digital stamp, which I coloured with Copic markers. I added the word “Love” (Valentine's Day is coming up), clouds and stars in shades of sky blue. To hang it, I used a thin cream-coloured string, and I used the PD8013 Flower Flourish die to make the flowers, which I glued on top, adding a small coloured pearl.

Rachael - I made this while staring out at the snow from Storm Goretti. Mmmmm hot coffee! I started off die-cutting all the bits. I used a set called Sweet Moments die bundle available here and scalloped rectangles and tags die from here using a combination of plain, coloured and patterned card stock. I made up the coffee cups, then using picked raspberry distress ink, and heart wreath stencil I added detail onto the scalloped panel. I used the sentiment from the coffee set, and stuck it to vellum, before fussing cutting around the whole thing. I layered it all together using foam pads for dimension, and added stickles for sparkle. Back to the coffee and keeping warm!

Kathie - Welcome to Digi Choosday. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebrations. Today, I am excited to share my latest card a Hot Chocolate easel card. For this project, I couldn’t resist using the adorable Polkadoodles DLPD 9507 "Hot Chocolate Sweet Freddy Fox with Macarons" image. The colour palette I selected brings a smile to my face, as they are bright and cheerful colours. This card is suitable for both feminine and masculine recipients. The sentiment on the card is from DL 9346, Alcea Hollyhocks (Thinking of You), just to give it that added touch. For the background and layers, I chose design papers from the DLPD8408 "Let’s Hang Out" collection. I love these colours some of my favourite. Freddy Fox started as a black and white image, I coloured him using Copic markers in shades 0, E000, E00, E08, E37, E50, E51, YG11, YG68, RV10, C01, BG000, BG13, BG49, R2, R32, G62. I also used a black gel pen to accentuate his nose and gloves. The embellishments include aqua satin ribbon, orange gems, two orange brads, and a tiny pompom on Freddy’s hat for a finishing touch. For the hot chocolate cup, I coloured it with Copics, then applied a coat of glossy accents. Once the glossy layer dried, I added white polka dots for the finishing touch.

Zel - For this project, Using my die cut machine, I cut 2 pieces of paper and stuck them together to make my tag thicker. I then went ahead and decorated the background by spraying distress oxide spray walnut stain and waited for it to dry before I sprayed another distress spray which is the forest moss. Once the paper was dry, I used a Stencil to add more volume to my tag. For my focal point, I printed Polar latte coffee Autumn Fall Fox and cut it using my brother scan and cut. I colored him using ohuhu halawa colored pencils. For the hat I colored it with Pale brown grey for his hair, I combined colors dark brown and tan. I used dark brown and bistro for the cinnamon to make them look like chocolate wafers , and dark brown ochre and dark brown for the cup. Then I cut the word "sweetheart" from Love Always printable Sentiments and stuck it in the middle of the cup to make it look like it is the label of the cup. I also print and cut the word "you are the sweetest " from the same set and stick it under my focal point. Ana - For our Hot Chocolate design team prompt, I made a simple gift pouch that’s perfect as a small giveaway, gift, or to have on hand for guests as part of a cozy hot chocolate or coffee bar. I used papers from the Lily Bug Ladybird Papers 4 collection and created the pouch with an envelope punch board. Instead of gluing it the usual way, I left the left side flap open rather than the top, making it easy to slip treats in and out. It fits hot chocolate and marshmallow packets perfectly. I finished it off with a rosette, ribbon, and the cute Teacup Lily Ladybug Ladybird digi stamp, coloured with alcohol markers. Quick, easy, and super cute to make! Wendy - The theme set for the DT this week was Hot Chocolate and it's definitely hot chocolate time here as the Winter temperatures have really kicked in - there is so much snow too on the mountains around us - definitely magical to see. I have seen loads of Hot Chocolate style cards lately and I decided I would recreate the style using digital images to show how versatile they can be. I started off by using the mug template, resizing it to create two mugs and then coloured these with green distress inks, fussy cutting out and adding a couple of die cut hearts to the mugs. For the whipped cream topping I printed out one of the cakes from the Coffee, Tea and Cake collection. I only wanted the whipped cream and cherry so used the Cherry Cream Cupcake image and then coloured with my promarkers before fussy cutting out. The sentiment is from the Gingerbread Cookie collection and I added this to the bottom of a paper from Gingerbread Holly collection before printing out, along with a piece check paper from the same collection. I decided to add a little stamped border around the edge of the paper, stamping in Versafine Clair ink using the Funky Borders stamps set, before layering with red card and adding to my card blank. The mugs were shaped with a pencil and then adhered to the card using 3D glue gel for dimension. To finish the card I added some sparkly gems and clear sparkle pen to the whipped cream and cherries. I wish you could see the sparkle as its so pretty but photos don't do it justice. Wishing you all a wonderful crafty week - love and hugs Wendy x

JulieThis bright and cheerful slider card was created especially to celebrate Nikki’s birthday — and it just had to include her favorite pinks and oranges along with a little interactive surprise! With layers of colorful, festive fun and a hidden sliding sentiment tucked inside, this card brings all the happy vibes as you pull to reveal the message. The image —Party Balloon Bunny Rabbit, is colored to match the playful palette and topped off with a few sparkly details. A joyful card with movement, color, and a smile built right in — just the way a birthday card should be! My Blog, Instagram, Facebook
